Bari to Bar Montenegro Ferry Suspended

Here is a warning for those who may be planning on taking this route:

In my research for my upcoming trip I have found it nearly impossible to find reliable information on the Bari Italy to Bar Montenegro Ferry this summer. Or even for dates this month or next or into the spring.

After contacting many sources I got this e mail from Montenegro Lines authorized agent in Bari:

"Good morning from Morfimare.

We are sorry but at the moment we don't have schedules for the 2018, the service is temporarily suspended and we don't know when will restart.

Best regards.

Armand​​"

If anyone has or gets further information or is on the spot in Bari please update us on this.

Hi, Alan. I believe that I saw the same results looking at Montenegro Lines last week. 1) Ferry companies are fickle. 2) It's also not unusual for schedules to be published pretty late in the region.

Jadrolinija is the big Croatian ferry operator, which ran this schedule in 2017. However, so far for 2018, the only international route they have published is Split-Ancona. If they don't reinstate service at least from Dubrovnik, that will be a major change. You might email them, as well. If I learn any more, I'll let you know.
