Bari/Naples/Rome partial itineary in mid Nov suggestion

My partner are I going to Europe from Australia for 3 weeks in end of Oct, so basically will be like this

Arrive Rome at 31st Oct Rome at 6:30am
I heard this is going to be crowded? Because its a national holiday in Italy or something?
But it's fine because majority of the days we will be going on a cruise anyways
So on 31st Oct, we will just walk around and go to the main sites nearby and rest early since the next day (1st November), we have a 14 days cruise starting 11am boarding (in which I have already checked in) till 15th November and disembark in Bari Italy at 8am
Here's my plan and could you please let me know if this is good?

15th Nov -
10am - Get off the ship and drop luggage at hotel.

11am - Head Polignano a Mare for a few hours by train.
4pm - Come back and walk in Bari, and enjoy dinner night time. 1N @ Bari
16th Nov -
6:45pm - Flixbus to Naples at
10am - Drop luggage @ hotel
10:30am - lunch at the famous naples pizza.

11am - Head to Pompeii for few hours, then go back to rest
2N @ Naples
17th Nov
8am - Bus day tour to ""From Naples to Sorrento, Positano & Amalfi Coast Tour" NB: (We would like to DIY, obviously, we don;'t have enough time so this is the best way to taste a sample. I calculated that 3 1/2 hours on bus and 4 1/2 hrs on actual site which is not bad, better than from Rome to Amalfi Coast which is probably 2 hours and a little more actual sightseeing due to the distance)
5pm - Conclude and eat dinner nearby
18th Nov - If we have time, we might take the cable car from Naple up to the top and walk the town a little, otherwise, we head back to Rome central overnight to catch our flight next day. 1N @ Rome
19th Nov
8am - Leave Roma central station bound for our 12pm flight

Does this sound good?

PS: We are nature and view lovers, like Venice, coastal walk, fjord, cliffview etc as you can see here and not so much in ancient history or museum.

Your feedback would be appreciated

The National holiday is on November 1st. Note that in Naples there are 4 funiculars.

Two questions:

  1. why Flixbus from Bari to Naples?

  2. do you have already found a good, proper sit-down pizzeria with a wood-fired oven that's open for lunch at 10:30 am? Same question for the dinner of November 17th, you know a place that's not a tourist trap and that's open for dinner in the afternoon? Maybe I got it wrong and, on the 16th and the 17th, you're interested in street food places or in bars serving food?

Because it is ironically quicker than by train i.e. 3 hrs vs 4hrs plus cheaper too and the timing fits the bill for us

I L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele naples (which opens at 10:30am) which is the most famous pizza in Naples and must try? Unles you have better recommendation?

16 November will be a very busy day. Bus from Bari at 6:45 AM not pm? The planned afternoon in Pompeii will be very rushed. There is a lot to see even in a tour group if you take one. In addition, if you love nature and views, near the Pompeii Scavi station one can get a bus tour up to the parking lot on Mt Vesuvius and can then walk 20 minutes up to the crater rim. One really big steaming hole. You'll see why another eruption would devastate the population. Alternatively you could drop your luggage at the hotel and get a regular train to Pompeii Town which puts you in the middle of Pompeii village just east of the site. LOTS of good food there and you will be closer to lunch time. As you walk west you will pass the Archeological site's east portal but go along the south wall of the site to the west end where the main entrance is located next to the Pompeii Scavi station (for the Circumvesuviana train). If you enter the main entrance you will then traverse through the site and end up near its coliseum - right next to the east portal which you passed on your way west and you are back near your lunch spot. Then head back to the Pompeii town station and head back to Naples.

I had no idea they were so famous, but if they light up the wood-fire oven at 5 am and if you are hungry at 10:30 go for it. Don't expect to be surrounded by locals in the line.

I'd check again the opening hour, if I were you.
