For any of you who are contemplating this route you may know the Ferry has been suspended. It most likely will run this summer but it's start date or even if it will run is apparently up in the air.
So here is a reliable email address to check the status of the Ferry. This is an employee of the company that represents the Ferry in Bari. I just now got the following from him:
" Good morning from Morfimare. We are sorry but at the moment we don't have schedules for the 2018, the service is temporarily suspended and we don't know when will restart.
