I want to thank everyone who emailed and helped me find hotels in Rome.. I have booked some lovely rooms at a discount.. Can anyone tell me of any good places to stay in Bari>. I need pre and post cruise nights in October.. Seems all the hotels on the hotel websites in Bari are American style.. Hey.. I am going to Italy.. not Disney World Michelle Campbell Valrico FL

Try looking at B&Bs, since you don't want American style hotels. TripAdvisor will help with reviews and booking.com can help you see what's available for your dates.

In alberobello there are trulli home (many kids call it smurf villages) not sure if that is where you want to be but a quick search of trulli he's will let you see these wonderful stone homes
