Hello everyone, in September my wife and I will be landing in Bari Airport from Venice. I need to get to Central town right by the central train station. There is a train station right outside the airport, does anybody know how you get from the terminal to that train station?
Looking at Google Maps, I don't see a Walk Way, so I'm not sure if there are shuttles or free rides over to it? Thank you in advance for any help.
Looking on a map, I'm pretty sure it is walkable. They aren't going to put a train station right next to the airport that isn't walkable to the airport itself - otherwise, what's the point? If the station was close but not AT the airport, they would probably be shuttles - but looking at a map of this airport, it's clearly walkable. If you don't see signs for the train station, ask someone.
Okay thanks, that's originally what I thought also. Just, that looking at the Google satellite map it looks like there's just roads that I'd have to walk over to get to it, not sure
If you are patient with airport's virtual tour, you will find an [edit] escalator going down from the ground floor with signage "to trains." So that's either a tunnel or a whole subterranean world.
Also, for train schedules: https://www.ferrovienordbarese.it/times/
Thank you, I did look around the virtual tour, but I never came up with signage to Railroad. I'll take a look again. Thanks
www.openstreetmap.org clearly shows the underground corridor between the station and the airport.
Thank you, downloaded the site will use it.
