Is this place still closed on 1sr,3rd and 5th Sunday and second and fourth Monday. It doesnt say anything on the website.

Ahhhh, the Bargello, arguably the best sculpture collection in Florence. And that's saying something!
Your info on operating hours is correct per the website below

Note the short hours (half a day) on the days it is open--and the half-day only opening times seem odd to me. I don't remember that being the case a few Septembers ago when I was last there.
You wouldn't know it from the hours, but it's so worth it--the sculpture and names will blow you away!

Hmm - I don't think those hours on that site are quite right though. It does close earlier in the winter, but I am not sure when that starts. The official sites have different times - 2 PM and 5 PM. I will walk by and check it out -

I missed this before on the website:
"Please note that the extended opening hours of the Bargello National Museum will continue until 30/9/2009.
The Museum hours are as follows: from 8.15 until 17.00 from Monday to Sunday, closed on the 2nd and 4th Monday and the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month."
So it looks like to 5 PM until the end of this month.
