Can anyone tell me if they have been to a barbershop in Rome? I am not concerned so much about the cost as I am about their quality of service and speaking English. I should mention I am only looking for a facial and head shave.
Thanks
When Rossini penned the opera "The Barber of Seville," he was talking about a Spanish haircutter, but the Italian barbers are legendary in their skills. Use Google Translate to talk to the barber, and you will be fine.
I just happened upon this (interesting) thread and saw your ("MS") reply with the link to English speaking barbershops. I'd have to believe that is one of the most succinctly helpful thread replies I've ever seen in any forum. I noticed the OP didn't thank you -- hopefully merely an oversight and not the bad manners it outwardly seems -- so at least let me say THANK YOU for that wonderful addition to the thread (from which others probably benefited from also)!
let me say THANK YOU
You're welcome:)
I have been away for a while but thanks for the link.
