I've gone on the cicchetti bar tour with Alessandro three times in the past five years (yes!... traveling with different friends/family members and the tour is such a blast!). In January 2018, the tour didn't "fill" until two days before the tour. Alessandro emailed me immediately to let me know. I suggest just staying in touch with him (make sure he has both your email address and your WhatsApp phone number) by emailing him again maybe a couple of weeks before the tour, and then a week before the tour, to see if he has more confirmed participants. I'm betting that by mid- October, which is a fairly busy tourist time in Venice, the tour will surely fill up! Have a great time!
