Bakeries, Cheeseshop Recommendations Italy -RS Tour Venice Florence Rome

Hi all,
I will be in Venice, Florence and Rome in May. Any recommendations on fabulous bakeries and cheese shops in these 3 towns? I know everything will be fabulous, but if there is something really unique, mom-&-pop that comes to mind please let me know!

Thanks much,
Kathy S.

It isn't mom and pop, and it isn't what most people might call a bakery, and it doesn't as far as I know sell cheese, but Tonolo is fabulous, just around the back of S Pantelon near the Frari in Venice. Just ask Commissario Brunetti (and me, and my wife).

I Dolci di Patrizio Cosi pastry shop in Florence on Borgo degli Albizi. Everything is delicious, kind staff and great barista.

It can get busy at times with locals and a few tourists. From this location you can head to Santa Croce, Mercato di Sant’Ambrogio, Piazza dei Ciompi and the Synagogue of Florence.

It’s a great place. I never miss a chance to visit and have a seat and take in the local vibe.

In Rome, go to Roscioli Caffe in Sant’ Eustachio and order a Maritozzo Dolce!
There are a few Roscioli in the same area, fabulous!
