Baggage storage near Roma Termini

We will be travelling through Rome on our way to Orvieto in October. We thought we might walk around a bit in Rome before catching a regional train to Orvieto. Does anyone know of a place to store our luggage in or near the station? I reserved a locker on a site ($10 for 2 bags) called Bagbnb. I have since have read on trip advisor that it may not be a legit site as all posters recommending bagbnb only had one post :(

Thanks for any info!

There is left luggage storage right at Termini. Most of the larger stations in Italy offer this service.

I think we are going to do RS Heart of Rome audio walk. Rick says that it only takes a couple of hours to do the whole tour and it has lots of free things to see including the Trevi Fountain--which I really want to see.

My daughter is not really interested in Rome and I don't think we would have enough time to see any of the things that require tickets. My plan is to come back with my husband and spend several days in Rome!

Yes it's down a level or two and felt pretty secure to me - I think we had to show passports.

Highly recommend a visit to nearby Museo Nazionale at Palazzo Massimo. Go straight to the top floor to see rooms fully frescoed! The House of Livia room is most beautiful.

Don't know if this is on your tour agenda. But if you are near the forum and colosseum - take the elevator to the top of the Vittorio Emmanuel Monument (also called the wedding cake bldg.) You can see 360 degree views of all of Rome. I spent a lot of time up there taking photos and just enjoying the views.
You can see where places are located and perhaps get some ideas . We did not go up on a tour, just went to the ticket counter and bought a ticket to go to the top (I think it was less than $10)
You can see reviews and photos of this on tripadvisor.com here is a link

Thanks for all of these great recommendations! I think they might be very close to the route of the Heart of Rome walking tour and I could add them in!

Lower level (Metro Level) on the south end of the stations. Or the left side if your back is to the track platforms. The only draw back to the luggage storage in Termini is the potential for long lines checking in and out. Very unpredictable. Guessing that the lines should be shorter in Oct.

If you stop by your Bagbnb location to see if it's legit, please post an update and let us know how you made out.

I have emailed the Hotel Agora which is referenced as the location of our reserved lockers in the confirmation I got from bagbnb. I will let you know if they confirm that this is a legit reservation. Stay tuned....

Thanks for the other recommendation for luggage storage!

So I heard back from Hotel Angora and they confirmed that the locker I reserved through Bagbnb is reserved with them. So Bagbnb is legit. But as Philip found, you can also go directly through the Hotel for the same service. However, I don't know if it is a walk up service or you can make a reservation directly with them or only through Bagbnb. I will come back and post after our trip and let you all know if it went smoothly.
