We will be flying into Venice and then taking the train up to the Dolomites for 5 days before returning to Venice to board a cruise. We would love to store our bigger bag with cruise clothes in Venice rather than lugging it on the trains. So far I can only find sort term storage at the Mestre treating station. Any suggestions?

Yes, there’s left luggage facility at the Venice Santa Lucia Station.

Choices that I know about are:
Baggage storage at Venezia SL railway station. This is half way down Platform 1.
Just outside the railway station, to your left as you exit, the Keep Calm baggage storage.
At Piazle Roma, where the bus from the airport terminates, Deposito Bagagli.
