We want to stop to see the Scrovegni Chapel en route to Venice, from Verona. Does anyone know what the baggage storage situation is at the station in Padova? This will be at the end of our trip and I expect we will have some pretty large, heavy and fully expanded luggage by then.
There is baggage storage at the station in Padova. Make sure you have reservations for the chapel.
Wendi,
According to this website, there is a luggage storage (Deposito Bagagli) at Padova station - http://www.amoretravelguides.com/blog/padua-italy-train-plane-travel-transportation-tips.php .
I don't know how current the website is, but I vaguely recall a luggage facility in Padova. Be sure to allow lots of time to drop off and retrieve luggage, as there could be a queue at times.
Thanks everyone! This was helpful.
There is a bag storage service on platform one at the back of a train coming from Venice.
It costs 5 Euro per bag for five hours. Each hour over is .90 Euro.
Did this yesterday.
Max, thats all the time I need. I'll just have to remember that it's platform one. So is this similar to a coat check... opposed to lockers?
