Baggage Check in Cremona?

We will be visiting Cremona to see the violins en route from Milan to Verona. Does anyone know if we can check our bags at the Cremona train station? Dave

Normally, this information is available on www.trenitalia.com. You go to a certain section, the Region and all of the train stations in the ed Region appear. Their services are shown. Unfortuantely, the Region of Lombardy, in which Cremona is located, will not come up. I did go to Ron in Rome's wonderful webiste where he somewhat duplicates the Trenitalia setup. He shows that only Milano Centrale and Milanao Porta Garibaldi to have staffed luggage storage in the Region of Lombardy. Smaller stations generally do not have the staffed luggage storage facilities.

Thanks, Larry. The info about finding services particular to each train station will be very helpful for other cities on our itinerary. Dave

Dave, if you want to acces this feature, go to www.trenitalia.com and English. Timetables and Purchasing. One the left, Agencies and Ticket Office in Italy and Elsewhere. At this point, you need to know which Region contains the city you wish to research. For example, if you want Pisa, you need to know that Pisa is in Tuscany. Naples is in Campania and Rome is in Lazio. If you don't know, Google the city and the Wikipedia site. Wikipedia shows the Coat of Arms and Region on the right side of the page. Once you the Region, all of the train stations in that Region will appear. For the staffed baggage areas, the Biglietterie tab at the top. You can now see which stations have staffed luggage storage along with their hours of operation.
