Does anyone know if there is a baggage check room at the S. Rossore train station in Pisa? This is the small station closest to the field of miracles. Rick's book notes that the Centrale station has one but we are trying to use the other station.

Shar - No, there is no there baggage check room at the S. Rossore train station in Pisa. As noted, there is one at Pisa Centrle - which I have used a few times - and from which you can ride the bus (less than 8-10 minutes) to the Field of Miracles. We used the baggage room at the Centrale station. We met some people on the train that were doing the same thing we were, so we shared a cab to the Field of Miracles. It didn't cost any more than taking the bus. We took the bus back to the station. It was very easy.
