Is there alternative bag storage available in Pisa, outside of Pisa Centrale? After looking back through previous posts, I have found nothing difinitive about storage available at or near the Tower or Duomo? We would like to utilize the train station at Pisa S. Rossore, before going on to Vernazza, but it looks like there is no baggage storage there. A couple of earlier posts mention a bag check/storage at the Leaning Tower, but it does not clarify availability, size, cost, location(s), how long?. Any help would be appreciated.

Mario, I was at Pisa Centrale last month, they had standard rates for baggage storage (roughly! €3/4 for 6-10hours). It looked very secure. The walk to the tower is only 20-25 minutes at a leisurely stroll down a beautiful avenue. I did not see baggage storage at the tower, although I wasn't looking... If you happen to "accidentally" stay in Pisa, as happened to us, I can't speak highly enough of family-run La Pace Pisa Hotel, right by Pisa Centrale. So kind, well done rooms, great rates, bath tubs, comfy, great breakfast!
