Bag allowance within Europe

I want to know if you are still considered an International traveler if you travel within Europe with connecting flights. I travel from Florida to Venice. I am allowed 2 bags. Then I travel from Milan to Ireland and then 6 days later fly out of Dublin to FLL.
My question.....does my 2 bag allowance apply through out my trip. AerLingus web site says I am allowed 15kgs ?? ( I fly Aerlingus from Milan to Dublin.
I did try to call them and I was still on hold 38 minutes later.
Thanks
Pat

Margaret,

You might check the AerLingus website for details on the baggage allowances. Generally speaking for flights within Europe, passengers are allowed ONE carry-on item, and other baggage has to be checked. Have a look at This page for all the details (*NOTE - they indicate that the rules will be "strictly enforced"). Scroll down to the applicable section.

Hope this helps.

Happy travels!

the last time I went to Italy I connected with Ireland but it was the one ticket( meaning it was all included in the itinerary.)I had no problems with bags at all. This time the Aerlingus ticket was bought seperate. Does this make a difference?
