Hi, i m in Italy and i ll spend three weeks here, i was thinking about staying four days in Venice, and some friends suggested me to do a day instead of the dinner a bacarotour, a tour through the traditional bars of Venice, eating delicious appetizers and drinking a good glass of wine in each place.
i have found one here www.bacarotourvenice.com
any opinion about?
thank's
I've never wandered Venice with a tour and have visited several bonzer places for cicchetti. We've never gone wrong based on various suggestions. If you feel that you need to rely on somebody give it a whirl.
You can do your own using what the locals suggest (sorry no English).

No disrespect Jacopo, especially if you are not actually a shill promoting this tour company, but this type of experience is best done on your own - not with a tour.
It's easy as... ciccheti!
I have some friends here who have used the tour guide posted above and they tell me that it was a complete waste of money. Those who have gone back say they had a much better time exploring on their own with a little help from various website recommendations. I've always done it on my own over the years and would highly recommend that as well.
hi, finally i tryed to reserve on bacarotourvenice, because i wanted to have a local guide and not just try the bars, was very good, it s true that it s possible do a self made bacaro tour but in this way i tried a selection of the places and i have known a lot of interesting and useful things about Venice with the guide.
i can suggest for who wants to do a different tour and have a guide .
i suggest confortable shoes because need walk a lot
