There are several threads on this; however, they all appear to be 6-7 years old, so I'm requesting fresh recommendations for a reasonable priced B&B or Hotel near FCO or Fiumicini. We will be arriving from Sicily and need to spend one afternoon and night before our flight home the next morning, so are hoping to be close enough to walk to the beach or town. It would also be wonderful if there was shuttle service between the hotel and FCO.

We stayed at the Hotel Tiber last October. Our room overlooked the Tiber and had ocean views from the small balcony. While the room was decent enough we didn't think the area offered much. It did have shuttle service to FCO.
Ostia Antico B&B is a small, family run place that might fit the bill. We stayed on night in advance of a flight to Sicily in 2012. Clean and very reasonably priced. Excellent customer care, but they don't have a shuttle. Very near to FCO, 15 minutes max?
We stayed here. Short walk to beach and shuttle service ( small fee) to/from airport.
No complaints or regrets.
