Any recommendations for a reasonably priced B&B in Rome for one or two nights in mid-July? I’ve loved Rick Steve’s recommended B&Bs in the past. Thanks in advance for your help.
Too many choices to list and "reasonable" is in the eye of the individual. Have you tried to contact the ones in Rick's guide? Looked at www.Booking.com? Be certain you get one with A/C in July! You might try The Beehive.
Also depends on what area you want to stay in. Check Airbnb-we are staying in Trastevere, 95-100 euros a night.
I usually rent an apartment near Piazza Navona but this year I'm trying this place. Looks nice, and they have been wonderful to deal with.

One thing to be aware of is that a lot of B&Bs in Italy (esp. Rome, it seems) do not have a common room for eating breakfast, so it's not an opportunity to meet other travelers. Often, they just leave a tray at your front door and you eat in your room.
When we were in Rome in October, we stayed at Little Heaven B&B and loved it! It's right next to The Vatican.
