Does anyone have the name of a B&B in Certaldo, Italy that is reasonably priced - cheap! Our plans for Italy have just changed and need a place in or near Siena. We will have a car.

Il Canto del sole is a lovely agriturismo a few miles outside Siena. Wonderful reviews on tripadvisor.com Their website is www.incantodelsole.com

B&B near Siena for one night only. Sorry, I didn't make my question specific enough. We need a place to stay for one night near Siena. Agriturismo's are usually for a week. We will be driving from LaSpezia on our way to Orvieto but stopping one night so we can spend time in Siena. Thanks for the suggestions but does anyone have a suggestion for one night. I don't think we want to drive the car into Siena to a B&B.

In 2002 we stayed at Fattoria Bassetto in Certaldo. It was a XIV century convent. This is what I remember, it was very charming, lots of antiques, a marble sink in the communal kitchen that was about 8' long, a 2nd story bathroom with no curtains with a beautiful view over the Tuscan landscape. It was very cheap as it is considered a hostel I think and it is recommended by Lonely Planet. It is a real cool looking place. In my journal I have the following website: www.bassettobackpack.com.
