Has anyone picked up a rental car from Avis / Budget in Chiusi recently? Google maps and Google traffic show that Via Leonardo da Vinci is closed until June 13. I'll give them a call before we get to Chiusi later this month, for now Just wondering where they have you pick up the car since the street is closed where the rental office is located.

The car park where you'll pick up the car is probably somewhere else close by, as is often the case with city-center car rental offices in Europe. Give them a call to make sure, but I am sure there will not be any issues.

Hi @mont3589, I will also be picking up a car in Chiusi in a few days. Were you able to pick up the car near the office/train station?

Avis is 2 blocks away, Europcar 400 meters. Both closed Sunday.

We took the train from Rome this morning, got to Chiusi at 11 AM Short walk to the Avis / Budget office. It only took a few minutes to do the paperwork, then the person who took care of us walked us one block down a side street behind the office, where we waited maybe half a minute while he went to get the car. We were on our way in no time.
I asked where to return the car when we bring it back, and he said to park somewhere near the office, or at the train station down the street, and call him.
