Avignonesi tasting bar

Is anyone familiar with an Avignonesi tasting bar in Montepulciano that has free wine tastings? I read somewhere that you can have free tastings as long as you purchase a bottle. Sadly, we don't have time to tour the vineyard itself.

We went there as part of a tour back in October, 2008, so we didn't have to pay.
It was very memorable to me. They had just harvested the grapes that will eventually become the vin santo. (The sweet wine that you dip the cookies into.) It was so awesome to enter the room and see shelves and shelves of grapes drying.
We brought a bottle back. It was like drinking liquid grape. Wonderful. Avignonesi produces one of the better vin santos.
Their name is also interesting. The family originally was French from Avignon, hence Avignonesi.

Sadly Avignonesi is no longer owned by the original family. It was sold in 2010? or so to a Belgian company. I don't know about the tasting bar in Montepulciano. I have been to the winery for the lunch and had a good tour and a lovely meal.
