AutoEurope in Italy--change pick up time

I booked a rental car for pick up time at 8am in Florence city. I booked as an early bird special a few months ago where there cant be changes to place of picku, date etc... If we got there later in the morning, would that count as a change in reservation? Could our car be possibly given to someone else if we didnt get there at 8am. Same thing for Rome. We scheduled an early morning pickup time at Termni Station.

You could call them. I had to do that and they were helpful.

AutoEurope is a consolidator based in Maine which sells rental car contracts with rental car companies such as Hertz, Europcar, Avis, etc. they are not a rental car company. I use them every year and are very reliable.

If you have any questions related to reservations you made with them, call them at their 1-800 number. Making changes to reservations has never been a problem. I don't think that getting there late would be a problem. Once the line at Europcar (booked through AutoEurope) on Borgo Ognissanti in Florence was so long, that I reached the desk two hours after my booking time and that didn't t make any difference (except that now I always pick up my car at the Via Forlanini office where no tourists show up).

Call them for any questions. The 800 number is in the website. www.autoeurope.com

I would call them to verify but I believe if you booked a special rate that includes no changes then getting there late may cancel the reservation or special price. Call to verify.

I couldn't imagine it being a problem but just give them a quick call or e-mail to make sure
