Hello. We are looking for authentic Italian (not touristy) restaurants to make dinner reservations for Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner (2021). I know most places are closed and most Italians will be home with their families but we are hoping that someone might know of a restaurant or two that will be open. We prefer smaller, less formal restaurants and want to focus on the quality of the food rather than the fanciness of the tablecloths and building. We don't speak Italian so any suggestions on how to complete the reservation would also be very appreciated.

I have no idea if this restaurant will be open for Christmas, but here is their email address. Maybe you could write to them in English. Someone is bound to speak English there. It is a smallish, cozy, unpretentious restaurant with wonderful food and friendly service. They don't have much of a website but you can see a picture of the inside. Look at Yelp or TripAdvisor for pictures of the food. We love this place. I wish you luck in your search!
