attending Mass, then touring St. Mark's Basilica?

We would like to attend the 9:00 Mass at St. Mark's Basilica when in Venice. My question is, after Mass will we be allowed to tour (plan to use Rick's audio guide) or do they make everyone exit immediately after the service? Will we have to exit, then stand in line to get back in to tour? Thanks in advance.
