Since you've had no replies, I'll give you my sparse knowledge. We stayed in Atrani for several nights (could have been a week) in a VRBO apartment on the piazzeta. It was a medieval tower made into an apartment on several levels: MANY steps, very unique. We noticed a large pink hotel on the hill above us which I am guessing was the Palazzo Ferraioli, a 4-star hotel and possibly the only hotel near "downtown" Atrani, though there are many apartments/holiday houses. Both the Palazzo Ferraioli and Francesca House (which I just looked at online) mention lots of steps to access them. We enjoyed Atrani very much. I'd be happy to answer questions.
