atm in roma

My son is in Italy. He took 200 euros with him and only had to use his debit card once to get 200 more. the charge on the transaction is a total of 267.00 is that good?

I assume you mean 267 dollars, U-S? If so, that's an excellent rate. If that's 267 Euro, he's being ripped off somewhere along the line.

Sounds like he got a rate of $1.335 per euro--which is good and cheaper than what I got last month (around $1.35-$1.36 per euro). Looks like the dollar has strengthened a little this month.

yes it was 267.00 in us dollars.

I thought it was good just wasn't sure. I know that 35 parents went in together to get euros before they left and we split the handling fees or whatever that fee was and we paid 142.67 for 100 euros.
