My husband and | will be returning to Italy - we have visited many times and have often used the trains. We are now older and find getting luggage up into train cars more difficult. On the websites I have seen mention of an assistance program that is available le at main stations - we will be in Turin, Florence and Rome. Has anyone used the service? Do they assist with getting luggage into the trains?
Thanks for the help.
I’ve never used it, but this is the info.

The page in Italia has more detailed info, so if you don’t speak Italian you may want to use Google Translate.

The help is coordinated in the SALA BLU (Blue Hall) at certain main stations. Firenze Santa Maria Novella, Torino Porta Nuova and Roma Termini all have a Sala Blu.
Thank you
I have checked out the websites and will call them as our trip is nearer. It is just useful to get info from travelers that have used the support.
