Hi,
We will be 2 adults and a 13 year old needing to travel from Assisi to Siena and eventually to Venice.
I am having trouble finding public transportation for that route. Any suggestions or thoughts on just renting a car in Assisi airport and returning it to Venice?

Parking a car in Assisi and Siena is tough, so try for public trans.
The buses in Italy are nice, so don't worry at that advice. I think Jazz+ nailed your options on public trans.
