Buon Giorno. Two things: 1) What can I expect for Ascension Day (June 2,2011). Are there any closures I need to be aware of. Are there any "don't miss" events related to the Feast? 2) Has anyone tried the Friday night Vatican Museum Under the Stars? Is it better/worse or just different than a day time visit?

The only real differences with visiting the museums during the day or at night are there are less crowds at night and not all the rooms are open. Check the website for a list of open rooms to see if something that you really wish to see will be available. Donna
