Anyone have experience with Artviva tours in Italy recently (2021-2022)? The tours look great, but the website is frustrating. It seems that all of the tours I want are either (a) suspended or (b) private tours (i.e., you pay a set price for the tour and show up with 1-6 people). I'm traveling with just one other person - I don't want to pay for 6 when I only have 2. Do they no longer offer small-group tours that individuals can join? I've tried emailing them but have not heard back yet. Thanks for any input!

No experience that sounds like yours, but I made reservations in Florence for a cooking class and dinner for four friends (Feb 2022). The charge was per person, though. The website didn’t want to take the credit card payment, but a WhatsApp message took care of getting that process arranged.

Hello,
We are headed to Italy in June for our first trip. We did book an Artviva tour in Florence (The original Florence Walk), as a small group (not the private group), online. Their setup for online reservations was a bit confusing, and a lot of tours are offered as both private and small group options. While the private options seemed to be available at multiple times daily; the same tour, as a small group version was available only a few days every week, and only a couple of times on those days. On the plus side, the RS discount code worked!
The Tour guy/The Roman guy tours and Tours with locals were other options available.
Hope that helps, and hopefully you have better luck with getting the tour of your choice.

Hi, I'm Rose a director of Artviva. In 2022 we are offering mainly only private tours. This is due to constantly changing museum and local government rules and policies concerning Covid.
