I have been trying to get in contact w the ArtViva tour agency in Italy. Their site has the contact address as [email protected]. Whenever I enter that address, my browser says that it is an incorrect WEB address. Has anyone been able to get in contact with them and what e-mail address did you use.

That's not a web address, it's an email address. So, you don't enter it in your browser URL line, you enter it in your email program.
On most computers and phones, if you just click on the e-mail address, it will automatically open your email program and start a message to that address. Try clicking on the [email protected] address, and see what happens.
If you can't get e-mail to work, here is their other contact information http://www.italy.artviva.com/pages/10/contact_us. Also, at the top of that page, they give their Skype name as "artvivatours" (without the quotation marks).
Harold is correct. If you have a Mac just enter artviva.com in the web address line/box, hit enter, and it will automatically convert to http://www.italy.artviva.com/ and you are there.
