Arriving Venice May 1 labor day; will public transport actv and vaporetto be functioning

We'll be bleary eyed and jet lagged arriving Venice on May 1. Nothing I've been able to find so far indicates what schedule changes for public transporation will be for a holiday. Are we stuck needing to ge a cab?

Holiday schedules for public transport are normally the same as Sunday. For Vaporetto (or for trains) this is a minimal difference. It's primarily bus service that is reduced on Sundays and holidays (but not the Venice airport buses).
