My wife and I will be arriving in Milan (Malpensa airport) at 10:40pm and are trying to find the best way to get to our hotel which is just north of Sempione Park. We will have several pieces of luggage as we will be arriving from Iceland. Any suggestions? Expected cost? Thanks!

This question sounds familiar. The Malpensa Express train runs every 30 minutes to Cadorna station and the last one is at 26 minutes past midnight, so you should have no trouble making that. Cost is 11 euro pp.
At Cadorna, get a cab to your hotel, figure 10 euro for the fare. The taxi fare from Malpensa would run 80 euro.

Hi, We just looked in to this as we arrive on that late flight too. The trains seem to only run on the hour late at night and it is an hour on the train from Malpenza to Milan, so if you just miss one you could be in for a late night. Last time we landed in Milan it took 2 hours to collect our baggage! We have decided to book a hotel at the airport and then catch the train to Milan the next morning. If you can't change your booking in Milan perhaps you might want to spend the money on the cab and at least you will arrive at your hotel at a decent time and you won't have to worry about dragging your luggage around at mid night!
