I was looking to purchase 2 tickets to the Arnolfo Tower for early October, but the website says no availability. Did I wait too late? I understand you can get tickets there, but the wait can be long. I’m wondering if the lines will be shorter since peak season will be ending. Thanks for any advice! I’d like to plan at least one “tower” view in Florence, and I’m still finalizing out my itinerary details 2 months out.

Rather than too late I think you are too early. If you try different dates on the websites you'll see there is still availability for every day in August still but none past the 31st. I don't think they've been released yet.

Sturner , can you update when you’re able to get tickets? I’ll be there in late October and also want to climb the tower. If I’m able to get in the site to get tickets before you, I’ll update as well. Thank you!
If you haven’t done the duomo, I was there in March 2022 just as the sun was setting. There were hardly any people, and I had the perfect viewpoint.
