arigtuismo easy drive from Rome

We are a family of 4, parents plus two tween-agers. Next Spring we will be flying into Rome from 4 weeks in SE Asia. The travel guide, ME, will be needing a mid-trip break. I am looking for a few days of enough quiet for me with a few possible activities for kiddos. I imagine we fly in, rent car, drive out for a few days then return car to airport, and use public transit to get into Rome and continue on our journey.
love food, seafood-meditteranean diet and nature , agriturismo or B&B wiht HALF BOARD. ( did I mention I'll be tired of being in charge) would be great. 25-35 Euros per person/night or total of 100-160 Euros per night total. 1-2.5 hours drive. area with warm weather in April would be nice.

There are a thousand agriturismi within a 2 hour drive from Rome ranging from simple and rustic to luxurious.
For something a little different geared toward kids and relaxing in a mountain setting look at Italy Farm Stay. It is in a non touristy part of Italy.

Also take a look at Colle degli Ulivi in Zagarolo outside of Rome aka Olive Tree Hill.
Has always gotten fabulous reviews. Looks like it might be perfect for a family.
