Arezzo first Sunday - crowds for Basilica?

I was going to go to Arezzo on Sunday May 5, but I noticed you can't book a spot to see the Basilica de San Francisco because it's "free day" (and the day of the antiques fair.) If I wanted to go later in the afternoon would I get shut out or would it be crowded? The Basilica is open 12:30 to 5:30. Thanks.

I went last year but not on a free day. It’s one of those chapels where they only allow a certain number of people for a few minutes so I don’t know how they manage it on a free day without reservations. The chapel was the reason I went to Arezzo, and although Arezzo doesn’t get many tourists, I wouldn’t risk it going on a free day and not being able to see it, if you can go on Monday, that’s what I would do.
