Area between Padua and Valdobbiadene......anything worth stopping and visiting?

Hello Kind Travellers,

Next year my wife and I will be staying in Padua after a one week cruise. We choose Padua due to its proximity to the Prosecco Wine area. We will have stayed in Venice prior to our cruise so we wanted to see if there was anything worthwhile to visit in between Padua and Valdobbiandene. Thank you in advance!

Castelfranco Veneto is a nice walled town directly on the way. Treviso is not too far out of the way and is a wonderful walled town with canals, bridges, buildings with frescoed exteriors, good restaurants, and shops.

We enjoyed having lunch at Salis Ristorante Enoteca, drinking Cartizze while looking out the big windows at the hillside the grapes came from. It's just outside of Valdobbiadene.

Thank you both for the suggestions! Part of the fun in traveling is doing the research on where to visit!!!!
