Happy new year! I've purchased timed tickets for San Marco's Basilica, Peggy Guggenheim, Palazzo Ducale and Museum Corr. Are the entry time requirements strict, or is it acceptable to arrive half an hour or an hour later? I plan to stick to the scheduled times, but I’d like to know if there’s any flexibility just in case of a prolonged lunch or walk beforehand.
I have been ok being 10, 15 minutes. Never tried for an hour. Seems 30 mins to an hour would be pushing it.
If you do your research, most places will state their policy when you buy the ticket. For example, for San Marco the time is plus or minus five minutes.
I've tried entering early with great success. I've never tried entering late.
Thank you all for your replies!
