My mother is mobility challenged. I was hoping there was a website that had tours of Rome and Paris that are geared for Disabled people.
We saw one called Paris On Wheels, but they haven't repsonded to emails and there number just rings.
We were hoping that we could find some tours for her and possible someone to wheel her around... like the Paris On Wheels shows on their website.
Steve...try www.emerginghorizons.com
This is a site for wheelchairs and slow walkers..
I have not used them yet, but the day is coming with my bad knees.
So far, my daughter, the Sherpa, as she calls herself, is able to help me while traveling.
Good Luck!

I do not believe you will find Rome tours specifically for the disabled. Your best bet would be to hire a private guide if that is within your budget. This way the entire itinerary can be tailored to make things easiest on your mom.

Will not link correctly so you'll have to cut and paste.
Should give you some ideas.
