Are there public showers in Venice train station?

I've searched the Internet extensively and found one or two references that say yes - but a resounding absence of information from any authoritative source, such as the Italian train service. Does anyone know for sure (recently) if there are public pay-per-use showers in the train station?

Nelly,

Not that I've ever seen, but of course I wasn't really looking for "pay per use" showers in the station.

I'd have to wonder whether there would be sufficient demand for showers (however, pay WC's are common, 0.80€ per use). Most people only spend a short time there either on the way to or from Venice.

Hopefully someone here will have some information?
