Are lines just as long in November?

Planning our first trip to Italy, and YAY, we are leaving in less than two weeks! Looking into getting passes to attractions etc and trying to figure out what to get! So many things to choose from.
There are so many "skip the line" tickets but am wondering if it is worth the extra money they charge for this if we are going in November, off season?
Any thoughts or opinions?
Thank you!

Dont know what the lines would be like in November, but I would get tickets in advance for any tours you want or areas you want to see. The,Pristine Sistine tour gets you earliest entry into the Vatican and Sistine Chapel , which I found very worthwhile. I also would try to get a good tour of the Coilseum. You need to book tickets in advance for the Bourgease gallery.
You might want to get your tickets for The Academy and Uzzi Galleries in Florence in advance as well. The extra cost might not be that much, esp when compared to the total cost of your trip and the limited amount of time you have overall.

If you go to Vatican Museums no doubt anytime of year buy that in advance. But you can wait til you get to Rome and buy it a day or two before.

Definitely worth paying another few dollars per admission on a multi-thousand dollar trip to get into the Vatican Museums, Uffizi, Academia, Borghese Gallery with priority access. I was in Italy in late October to early November last year and it was pretty busy. To be fair, the days at the beginning of my itinerary were leading up to All Saints Day, which is a really big thing in Italy. Still, you never now and best to be on the safe side. You can stand in line for hours at the Vatican Museums, or you can waltz right up and walk in.

No matter the time of,year I would get tickets in advance to anything you want to see. Why waste time in even a 15 minute line when you don't have to,

The Vatican museums will always have long lines, no matter the time of year. If you wish to bypass this you'll need to purchase entry tickets online. Use the official website:

https://biglietteriamusei.vatican.va/musei/tickets/do?weblang=en&do

The colosseum will be hit or miss. If you want to guarantee to skip the long ticket line you should pre-purchase entry tickets.

The fees from the official sites are minimal. 4 euros for the Vatican site and only 2 euros for the colosseum site.
