Are Agri Tours Available out of Florence?

Will be traveling thru Italy in Sept. with a couple of 'foodies' and former farmers. I think they would love having an agri tour experience. We are staying in town & will not be staying at one of the agritourism B&Bs.

You'd do best to just rent a car for day trips out into the countryside south of Florence and Chianti.
Farms in the area are relatively small by most agricultural standards, and they mainly grow grapes for wine and olives to be pressed into olive oil. They'll often raise a little livestock, too.
Virtually every farm in the area has rooms and apartments to rent for secondary income--hundreds and hundreds of places to stay.
The region is very easy to drive in with roads well paved. And road signs point you from town to town.

I haven't explored this website, but I simply Googled Slow Food Italy tours and got lots of different companies offering tours; this particular website even offers self-guided tour itineraries, in addition to group and individual tours.
