A friend and I will be in Milan for a week, visiting my daughter while she studies abroad. Since we will be there for a week, we are looking into renting an apartment, assuming that will be less expensive than a hotel room. Does anyone have any experience with this? Any recommendations? I have found a few through a site called Vacation Rentals by Owner (vrbo.com) and one called milanapartmentrentals.com. Is there a way to confirm the reliability of renting a place this way? Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
