Will restaurants and cafes be open in Orvieto and Umbria on April 25, 2019?

Orvieto is in Umbria. Yes, there will be restaurants open. Lots of people will be dining out at lunch since there is no work that day. Some shops will be closed, but tourist areas will be ready to serve you.

Thank you. Any suggestions for restaurants? We would like family owned/operated with the full traditional Italian experience.

For those not aware, April 25th is an Italian National Holiday. We were in Sorrento and chose that day for our Monetti taxi tour from Sorrento, almalfi Coast to Peastum and back. Due to really heavy traffic in places, we spent an extra two hours in the van. Great day, but longer than expected.
Expect trains and roads in/out of destination areas to be more crowded than one would expect for April. Many people will take a long weekend, Wednesday through Sunday 24-28th.
