My husband and I (30-something) are considering spending a week this summer in Liguria, looking specifically at the town of Apricale. Guidebook info seems scarce but the photos of the region are lovely. Has anyone spent time in this vicinity and can you speak to the town of Apricale or the general area? Open to other suggestions of good towns for a home base. We're not looking for anything loud or crowded, as we want to relax and have some quiet. A slow pace is just fine, if it comes with good food, good wine, nice views, and accessibility to some water we can beat the heat inocean or river. We'd likely fly into Nice and rent a car. Thanks for any tips, impressions, or ideas.
