Aperitivo Florence

On my last trip to Florence, I discovered the concept of Aperitivo at a great place called Obio across from the Santa Croce church.
Great drinks and food.
But, I was wondering if anyone had other recommendations that I can try in September?

Thanks

Great question, Paul! I recommend Manifattura in Piazza San Pancraizo. I enjoyed aperitivo at this fantastic spot as part of my Medieval & Renaissance Aperitivo Tour through Curious Appetite Travel (read about my experience of this tour here). Manifattura is an ode to 1950s classic Italian style. The owners take their cocktails and nibbles seriously, and I had a 5 star experience. We asked the bartender for a Renaissance-inspired cocktail, and he said, "Sure, no problem" and proceeded to invent a delightfully refreshing cocktail that I'm determined to replicate back home.

Some helpful links:

  • Coral Sisk, owner of Curious Appetite Travel, wrote a blog post about Manifattura here.
  • My experience at Manifattura can be found here.
  • Curious Appetite Travel offers an Aperitivo Tour as well as the Medieval & Renaissance Aperitivo Tour that I took. I highly recommend Curious Appetite.

I look forward to learning other aperitivo recommendations from our fellow forum members. Like you, I'm always looking to have another great experience like that.

And kudos to you for the quick return to Florence!!
