Apartments in Venice

We are trying to book a place for next month. Anyone have any suggestions in terms of locations or specific places they have stayed? Thanks.

We are very fond of this one on VRBO. We have stayed there 3 times. It's just right for two people. The neighborhood, or sestiere, is San Polo, and it is perhaps a 5 or 6-minute walk from the west side of the Rialto Bridge on a not-heavily-touristed street. We feel quite local when we stay there.

We stayed in this apartment in 2014 and loved the apartment and the neighborhood. Great terrace and view of the Basilica of San Giovanni e Paolo. I think the price has increased slightly since our stay :( https://www.vrbo.com/7004452ha

We stayed at a place on Guidecca. It was behind the youth hostel which had loud music late into the night. It was a burden getting to and from the island. I much rather would have been closer to everything else, but the price was GREAT.

Pensione Guerrato has an apartment they let. Not stayed there, but have stayed at Guerrato many times and based on that I'd not hesitate to check with them about the apt.

I have not stayed here but it has been recommended on RS before, popular. Its a small hotel that also has 3 apartments. Location is tucked down an alleyway around the corner from San Marcos sq, said to be quiet because its tucked back. and very close to the Bridge of Sighs. Full disclosure: we have a room reserved here in the spring. Reviews for it at trip advisor and RS are excellent. But again I have not stayed here.
