Apartments in Florence

Usually the apartments near there are centrally located right in the middle of Florence. Have you "google mapped" it? Some of those apts are up several flights of stairs. I no longer want to do that but you are younger than I. Are you using VRBO or Flipkey or Homeaway? They are usually very reliable sites, and should give you a map of the location.

Generally, anywhere near the Duomo is central, but there are other areas that are close. Some apts listed as Oltro Arno are not that far away. I usually stay in Santa Croce area, which is quiet, but about a 6 block walk to city center. Depends on if you want to walk out the front door for a lively night or whether you want quiet.
