Apartments in Florence and sorrento please. would love recommendations.

Do you have a specific budget you're looking into for these stays?

Hotels.com and Booking.com are both great sites to look into for reviews. I usually go through Rick's book and look up the hotels on these sites to make my decisions. All the reviews on these two sites are "verified" meaning the people leaving the reviews actually bought and paid for a room through the website. (Tripadvisor is different and allows non-verified reviews. Some hotels say their competitors leave bad reviews to hurt their business...the opposite can be true though. Hotels could potentially set up "fake" accounts and leave positive reviews of their own hotel to boost their rank).

I've been looking on all the sights, but at this point, I've got brain freeze. Booked our apartment in Rome and hotel in Orvieto, but need to reserve in Sorrento, Florence, and Venice (probably using points at Westin). I've looked into apartments through Air BNB and VRBO, but wonder sometimes about the reviews as well. I was hoping that someone on Rick Steves' forum could give me specific recommendations that they've used and really were happy with. I am traveling with my husband, and my son and his girlfriend, so we would like two full bedrooms and one bath. I'm not looking for a pull out bed. Our limit is $250 american dollars per night, which would include all taxes, fees, cleaning, etc. If someone has a specific apartmen that they've stayed in and thought was clean, safe, within 10-15 minutes of major tourist must-do's, that would be so helpful. We very much enjoyed the Serafina Apartment. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. Site say 5 minutes form train station but it is farther. On the other hand, it is about 12-15 minutes from the Duomo, very close to Santa Croce.
